In collaboration with the Crescent Hotel in Eureka Springs, AR, the Holiday Island Garden Club participated in an Arbor Day Program at Eureka Springs Elementary School, with a felt board presentation, book reading and tree planting.
In preparation for the Mother’s Day Plant & Flower Sale, Monica Kidwell taught us how to add bling to our flower arrangements. Thank you, Monica!
Garden Club members participated in the Holiday Island Community Connection Fair.
Holiday Island Garden Club members spent the morning refreshing the front beds, pruning and planting new shrubs at the Holiday Island Historic Barn.
Members of the Holiday Island Garden Club attended the Arkansas Federation of Garden Clubs Conference in Little Rock. Our winning awards were: 2nd Place for Best Yearbook, 2nd Place for Garden Club Membership and 1st Place for the Heritage Award. Pictured on the right is HIGC President, Donna Grimes.
