In honor of Arbor Day, Larry Lyon – president of the Holiday Island Community Garden and member of the Holiday Island Garden Club – planted fruit trees for the community to enjoy.

Carroll County Extension officer, Olivia Foster, presented a pruning workshop for the Holiday Island Garden Club.

In collaboration with the Crescent Hotel in Eureka Springs, AR, the Holiday Island Garden Club participated in an Arbor Day Program at Eureka Springs Elementary School, with a felt board presentation, book reading and tree planting.
